Subject: New Cash Grab at Worlds

So not only do we have to stay in the hotels or live within 100 miles of the venue, we still have to pay for the wristbands to get in. Why is this all a change this year? Too many dancers and their families live in that radius with Chicago and Milwaukee and they still want more money. This is beyond frustrating and was a massive lie stated when hotel rooms were posted. They only mentioned the facility fee.

There are 2 wristbands--1 for hotel block that comes with your room in block -- And 1 daily for ballrooms that you purchase, 26/02/26 21:39:19, Thu

It's in the syllabus now. $100/person facility fee if you aren't in the block and even if you are in the block you also have to pay for an entrance wristband as well. (NT) -- ., 27/02/26 3:32:11, Fri
NAIDC each July has the hotel block requirement and that gets you in the door as well. But Worlds is CLRG run and the North American Hotel Block requirement applies PLUS door Fee. -- Been the same for past NA Worlds, 2/03/26 21:09:42, Mon
