Subject: Why do you feel a fixed panel is bad?
In reply to: This can never happen again, if it survives 's message, "After several days of comps, still incredibly disappointed that the CLRG allowed a Fixed Panel at the All Ireland’s this year." on 14/02/24 4:12:18, Wed

Aside from if a judge is biased for a particular school how else do you feel a fixed panel is bad?

Do you think judges don't properly judge the set and just keep the marks around the same for the dancer as they had earlier? Do the first impressions from round 1 bias the judge against the dancer?

I'm genuinely interested because I've noticed before at majors where there is a rotating panel my daughters set can pull her up massively (I've regularly seen her set pull her up 15-20 places). She always does a great set and a disastrous round 1 due to nerves. But at the AI she only moved a couple of places from her set.
