I hope you’re well.
About the task four, I can say that, in Brazil, the education is complex. The primary school and the secondary school education aren’t good, because the governments still don’t value these levels of educational system and it’s also has many problems as: disrespect between teachers and students; the teachers have low wages; some schools have a bad structure; and other problems.
On the other hand, the higher education is very good. It’s happen because the politicians in my country invest in the higher education and value it a lot. The university teachers have a good wage; the buildings of universities have a good structure; there are many important researches in the universities; and other good things.
As regards the carrers, the most searched are doctor, lawyer, civil servant, engineer and professions in the areas of the computer science and technology.
The medicine and the law are searched because offers high wages and status in society. The civil servants have stability in their jobs. And the areas of engineering, computer science and technology have many opportunities of employment and the possibility of getting good wages.
It’s a short portrait of educational system in Brazil because this issue involves many other aspects as the historical, social, cultural and economic sides.
