The education in Brazil is quite good, depending of where you live. In the poorest areas, the schools and teachers are not prepared to teach and to receive the students. It's easier to find good schools, colleges and universities in the big cities. The most popular carrers are medicine, law, engineering. The professionals of these areas gain a lot of money and can be sucessful, that's why everybody wants to be a doctor, for example. Most of people don't want to be a teacher because the salary is low.
