In your joke, to " Como você pode contar um advogado mente?", you should say " Como você pode provar ou comprovar que um advogado mente?". It's better!!!!

It's so confused for me to understand what you said in your explanation, because I don't know if you are a lawyer or, if all the lawyers in the United States have a bad reputation. There are some problems with the ponctuation!!!
