Hey Aarah, I didn't understand your joke by the first lecture, it only makes sense in English! We use different words in Portuguese for "changing". For example, if we want to say that we are changing our clothes, we use the verb "trocar" instead of "mudar". But that was a nice joke!

My suggestions for your text:

1) The correct word in Portuguese for "joke" is "piada".
2) You forgot to put the verb "ser" on the first sentence: "Esta piada não é muito popular na América do Norte".
3)If the substantive is singular and feminine (it often ends in "a"), also the adjective must ends in "a": esta piada é engraçada...
