Joke:

Other day, a reporter interviewed a very beautiful woman, who was one of the finalists in a beauty contest. He asked her:
- What's your favorite dish?
And she answered:
- It's the porcelain dish.

This joke causes laugther because of the ambiguity of the word "dish" in Portuguese. "Dish" means a "kind of food" (pasta, Chinese food, French fries...) or a "kind of dish as a kitchen utensil" (china plate, porcelain dish ...).
When the interview asked model what's her favourite dish, he wanted to know what's her favourite "kind of dish", which is the meaning more suitable for the context. But the woman "choosed" the meaning less suitable for the occasion.
This joke also shows one of the negative stereotypes in brazilian culture. Usually, "beautiful women" are associated with "stupid persons".
