You can make all of the excuses you want but the facts still remain. River Oaks is going nowhere. The old agenda is out of date. We need new ideas and new ways of doing things. Other cities with proactive leaders are prospering while we are spending all of our time worrying about the street sweeper, trash service, the library and the community center. The current staff wants big business to walk in and open shop. Well guess what? Big business does not want to come here because our leaders are dysfunctional and the city services are not up to date. We need a strong leader that can point this city in the right direction. Move over Old Timers and let some new blood run this city. Pick up another hobby because you are wasting our time.
