Subject: Once again in our great city the Lion's Club comes to the rescue of historic papers, pictures and documents relating to the history of our city and school.

It appears that our leadership decided to discard the JFK display and historical presentation room located in the library. I sure hope some of the items that were DONATED ON LOAN to the city and historical society get back to the rightful families. There was a lot of CISD and city history dating back to it's very beginnings just being discarded. Thanks to the Lion's Club for seeing that this valuable history didn't just wind up in the trash.
