Subject: DANGEROUS Red Lights On Blvd

The City of River Oaks for the safety of their citizens needs to have the red lights fixed at the Blvd and Roberts Cutt-Off.

Over the past 6 months there have been a few storms that have not only completely broke the bottom brackets from many of the red lights, but have now also lost many of their visual guards that prevent cross-street drivers from not being able to determine who's light has changed.

Because the lights have lost their visual guards, when the left turn lane signal from 183 heading East (to turn North onto Roberts Cutt-Off) turns green, the Northbound Roberts Cutt-Off traffic that was waiting (near CVS) will also try to proceed into the right-of-way at the same time. I've seen this scenario at least a dozen times over the past two weeks, especially when it's dark.

I'm surprised there haven't been serious accidents related to this issue. And after two weeks the City still hasn't addressed the issue.

If this isn't fixed soon, someday there will be a serious accident as a result of the poor signal maintenance by the City of River Oaks and the mayor, and they should plan for the upcoming lawsuit when it does happen.
