LIMA: Newly crowned Miss Mundo Peru 2009 ( or Miss World Peru 2009 )

Claudia María Carrasco Sarrio, Miss Cuzco 21 year-old, was
crowned Miss World Peru 2009 during the beauty pageant held
at the Circuito de Aguas Park in Lima.

Claudia Carrasco was crowned by Miss World 2004, Maria Julia
Mantilla Garcia. She will represent Peru at the Miss World
2009 beauty contest at Johannesburg, South Africa next
December.

While crownd favorite Miss Pasco, Tatiana Simon was judged
the 1st runner-up, and received the title Miss Tourism Queen
Peru 2009. She will represent the country at Miss Tourism
Queen 2009 in China next month.
