The major issue is how to reference afix morphemes. For example, in the word 'holder', I would analyze as [hold] + some morpheme realized by er, but I don't know how to call it, if just -er or [+er] or [+agent] or whatever. the same for others such as -ing, -ly, -al, -ship, +able, -ty, etc. We saw very few examples in class. Other question is how to mark verb aspect [+perfect] [+continuous] or [+participle]. I hope you can help me clarifying these questions. thanks, oliver.
