Welcome all to the Miss USA forum. This is a place where you all can discuss in a rational and civilized manner, things pertaining to the Miss USA pageant, its state preliminaries and past winners/contestants etc..

But what will not be allowed in this forum is bashing, offensive words, attacking language or racial bashing in any way, either in posts or replies.

Notice- All visitors posting pics please read:
When posting pictures, please size them at a reasonable size, so the board can load up smoothly, pics that are very large, or many medium size pics at once, provide the link to them instead and also do not line up many pictures right next to each other or it will not be accepted.

My top 5 for Miss:



With the way the current Miss winners have been if there going for someone ethnic it will be down to Kimberly Smith and Amaryllis but if there going for a blonde it will be a battle with Marie Lynn and Ashley, if I had to choose a blonde it would be Ashley. Either way any of these girls will be great. I just cannot call a winner yet until competition day.

Teen:



I have seen better pics of Alyssa Taglia and know she will be in that top 3 but it's hard to call with the gorgeous picture of Julia Esposito!If she looks anything like this, we have a potential Miss Teen USA.

My top 3 will be Meghan Beatty, Alyssa Taglia, and Julia Esposito.


Overall I think its a good year and I am looking forward to this pageant.

I am sure for rating sake and because, well, it was so funny,....this Larry King episode Wednesday night with ex-Miss California-USA 2009, Carrie Michelle Prejean (and believe me, it was an episode)
and her so-called walk off but then stayed and stayed....will air as rerun tonight Sunday...9 Eastern/8 pm Central and midnight/11 pm on CNN (and again later at 3 am/2 am Monday morning on CNN)....I love how Carrie held up her book as Larry asked questions and she had a look of "Look at me and my book in my hand"!!!!....so watch it tonight, as its sure to be a repeated epsidode of Larry King from this past week....but also this that is airing tonight...

If you missed these when they began airing a month ago, tonight late tonight/early Monday....the re-airing
of back-to-back marathon episodes of the Dallas Cheerleading
pageant/try-outs that included current Miss Louisiana-USA,Lacey,
and her younger sister Kensley Minchew...and returning candidate
and former Miss Texas America, Sunni Cranfill and other pageant
gals who this year hoped to land on the 2009 Dallas Cowboys
Cheerleading squad.....watch tonight at 11 pm Eastern/10 pm Central...to 4/3 am....
on country channel CMT Sunday night.


PS---Dallas Cheerleader director, Kelli, was really irked over those Lousiana sisters...and rightfuly so, watch the episodes tonight and see if you agree.

This is regarding Miss USA at Miss Universe. Since The MUO and Mr Trump has a say as to who should be Miss Universe, do you think that Past Miss USA's have been overlooked, or that they just didn't measure up to the other countries, or does Mr Trump rather not have a Miss USA as Miss Universe.

Subject: Did anyone else see the Prejean interview on Larry King? She is such a brat! He asked her what her motivation was for settling and she claims it was confidential and she takes off her mic, tells him he is inappropriate and that she was leaving the show. Motivation for settling isn't confidential. She just doesn't want anyone to say she was inappropriate for having a sex tape and that she has been inappropriate the entire time she held her title. So happy the Miss CA USA board crowns soon and can put this stuck up chic behind them.

Congrats, to Kristen Dalton. Watching Carrie Prejean today trying to market her book, I am so glad that the right girl won. Kristen was the right girl not because of her opinion of gay marriage, but because of how she handles herself. Kristen is raising money for breast and ovarian cancer research while Carrie is telling the world that her opinion matters.

For us pageant followers, we know Kristen was the top score getter going in to the top five. Carrie didn't lose because of her answer, she lost because Kristen outperformed her that night.

Kristen hasn't made any ripples in this controversy to make a name for herself. She has done her job and will be rewarded.

Thank you Kristen, for bringing class to the crown.

For all those who care and wish to know---first runner-up to Miss USA 2009 and former Miss California-USA 2009, Carrie Michelle Prejean of San Diego, will make a guest appearance on the ABC talk show The View on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 proving she has not canceled out at the last moment or producers changed their plans.....but on tomorrow's show the guests will be:

Laurence Fishburne, former Miss California-USA, Carrie Prejean, and supermarket guru Phil Lempert join the co-hosts.

Carrie will be on the show to promote her newly released book "Still Standing" which discusses her stance against porn and selling of sex, but of course that was before last week's shocker of her "self alone" sex tape that caused her to drop a lawsuit against Miss California-USA directors. As The View co-host Joy Behar would say, and probably will on tomorrow's show: "Can you say 'Hypocrisy" Carrie?!!!!"
