I don't think anyone was "spying" considering CA posted all their videos on YouTube, so going to spy in person seems unnecessary. Lots of coaches from other programs go to this comp as spectators. No one was filming, no was being rude or unsportsmanlike to CA's teams. Some of the vca coaches were with the group of kids that came to watch the level 4 and 5 teams and the worlds divisions. Lets not create drama where there is none

OMG STOP IT. First, the videos on you tube are posted by parents of athletes at CA, not CA. If VCA wants a policy of not posting that is their right. You're not a member so why does it matter to you.
The coaches and owner were there enjoying some amazing teams. They cheered and showed support. Why bash them? They didn't video tape or spy. Besides if they wanted to see the routine its on You Tube.
There were also members from other gyms and coaches as well. Were they spying too? NOOOO. Let it rest. This is silly.
Thanks for cheering for our athletes VCA. My daughter has many friends in your gym and though she wants to beat you when you compete, she doesn't want anybody else to :-)
Goodluck this year.

No, and observation would be I saw them there watching. You instead made the judgment call that it was disrespectful. You then falsely said our coaches or owners wouldn't watch another team compete, which is also not true. I have seen our athletes; coaches and even the owners watch other teams in the past and cheer. You then also wanted to bash them for some reason for not posting their routines.
I just don't want to see this flare up from our side. I think it's fine to defend ourselves when attacked, but no reason to start something over nothing.

I'm not trying to bash another gym. But why did they (coaches) feel the need to sit right in front to watch? I myself found that very odd. Why would they come to support the same kids they kicked out of their gym when the kids felt the responsible thing was to let them know that they would not be returning this season only to be told they were never welcomed back? These kids were hurt. They didn't leave because it was a bad program they left because they wanted to grow as an athlete. They knew CA could give them that opportunity. I just feel (my opinion) that coaches from any program sitting in the front reserved section is poor taste they could have watched just from the seats. They did not need to be that close

If they were sitting there angry I could see your point, but they were clapping and cheering. They were being supportive. Maybe they are letting it go and we should too.

I got nothing. You are being silly now and it seems you just wan't to stir the pot. Let it go. They seemed happy and positive when the teams competed. CA constantly pushes being positive, lets try that here too.

Funny thing is I don't think this is being silly at all...of course you got nothing because they won't be at DO to cheer/spy on elements and you know it. How many moves of CA will be incorporated in VCA's routine is the real question guess will have to wait and see. I get the feeling we'll see plenty. Can't wait for JAMZ!!!

Re: American Grand -- No name, 00:26:34 01/06/13 Sun [1]
what some of you guys understand is that there is some BAD blood between the coaches of vca(along with elements coaches) and some cheerleaders of ca. when that vca coach sits in front of the athlete and screams their name at the top of their lungs is what is disrespectful. it would have been different if they didnt yell his name, but they did. that is what i have a problem with. i sat right next to that vca coach as he yelled out the athletes name, but i also know the bad blood with the athlete and that coach. i do say thank you to all vca and element athletes that came to support ca, but i do not respect those coaches for what they did. can't wait for JAMZ
