Lessa smirked slightly at the colt’s turning away, ignoring her. She watched him for a moment in silence, then clucked softly, and reached into her pack pocket, extracting a apple slice and offering it to him on her palm, though she didn’t budge. Instead, she remained exactly where she was, her hand held inches away from her body, instead of fully extending her arm. If he wanted the treat, he’d just have to come and get it.. and Lessa would try to get him into the trailer…
