Hey Kyle---- sounds like the paddling you gave to Joel and allowing him to swat oyur ass too really helped him focus on the GAME, which you won! Then finally accept the homecoming honor and have a great time at the party.
So enjoy all of this---and come monday back to practice to prepare for the next game. I'm sure you know what to do when Joel loses focus. Ofcourse he'll try to negotaite to make thing even and want to paddle your ass too. Its fine if there is a good reason.
