While on vacation my parents decided to visit my dad's parents, and along with us was my best buddy Kyle and his parents.
While growing up I was never spanked by my parents, for whatever reason and I haven'e been able to figure it out or have them volunteer why I wasn't.
During our visits I got up enough nerve to ask my grandpa if he spanked my dad when he was a kid and a teenager when he got into trouble.
Grandpa said he spanked my dad many times when he needed to be punished using his hand, a hairbrush, a paddle and when dad was an older teen he had a razor strap he used. Most all of the time my dad was spanked bare butt.
Curious, I asked grandpa if he still had the razor strap. He said the last he knew it was hanging up in the barn, when alot of the time my dad got his spankings. I asked if I could see it, and he told me "yes!" Kyle tagged along with us to the barn, and grandpa took the strap off a hook, which he said was there the last time he used it on my dad as am l8 yr. old.
Grandpa handed it to me, and boy was it wide and kinda heavy. I thought, "this actually spanked my dad's bare butt."
Grandpa said to me, "I know your dad doesn't use one of these to correct your behavior, but when needed I'm sure a paddle or his belt does just as good a job of tanning my little butt."
I surprised grandpa when I told him I've never been spanked by my dad or mom growing up. He was really surprised and puzzled. That made two of us.
I told him I got punished other ways, but never spanked like Kyle has growing up, and grandpa questioned Kyle about some of his spankings.
Grandpa told me then that I "wasn't missing anything having a razor strap spank my ass."
He could see I was curious though.
Also, he asked Kyle if he ever got a strapping with one and Kyle told him, "no. Just my dad's belt on my ass when I screw up now!"
Grandpa wondered if he had two teenage boys, who might be interested in feeling a razor strap on their butt, and asked us.
I of course, like trying different things, told him I would. When he asked Kyle, Kyle wouldn't give him straight answer.
"Don't be a whoose!" I shouted to Kyle.
Well, my grandpa had to candidates, and he said he would only do it "if it would be a real strapping!" He asked if during our lifetime had we gotten away with things that we should have been punished for and didn't. Of course everyone has growing up, but who wants to admit and cause a spanking to be given to them.
So Kyle and I each said we had number of times, and it was the perfect excuse for grandpa to give each of us strapping.
But, how many licks, if we agreed to it?
Grandpa said he would give us each 5 good hard licks that would take care as a puishment. And it was to be on our BARE BUTT!
"Who's first?" he asked.
Of course Kyle says to me, "he's your grandpa, you take the honor!"
So grandpa told me to follow him over to a couple of stacked bales of hay. I did. Then he told me to take my t-shirt off and pulldown my cargo shorts and underwear and bend over the stacked bales.
After baring my butt, he commented "son, you hardly very much of an ass to tan." Kyle laughed, and I told him it wasn't funny.
I bent over the stacked bales of hay, grandpa walked around behind me and asked if I was ready for him to start.
My heart was pounding like crazy, and I managed to say, "yes sir."
I glanced over my shoulder and saw the razor strap in grandpa's hand ready to do business. I looked started ahead.
I heard a noise that sounded like a gunshot, then felt sharp pain on my bare butt. Grandpa gave me my first lick.
I griminced a little, but didn't have time to react more when I felt the leather hit my sitdown spot again, leaving a bigger sharper pain.
"OUCH! I remember saying, glancing over to see Kyle watching with wide eyes.
Then another licks of the strap fell on my hurting butt, then another, hardly letting me catch my breath!
"Here's the grand finale," said grandpa, as I looked over and saw the strap high in the air and looking straight ahead I felt it hit my butt for the severe, searing pain I would feel for the last stroke.
Grandpa told me I could get up, and don't think I didn't grab my on fire butt, trying to rub the hurt out, but with 5 licks of that razor strap it sure left a hurt for even that small amount of licks being applied to spank my bare butt. I tried to glance over and see how red my butt was, but Kyle gave the answer I was looking for, "You got a first class ass roastings, Joel!"
I know I jumped up and down, rubbing my hurt butt, and thinking I now had my first spanking with a razor strap!
Looking a Kyle, I told him, "don't whoose out, buddy. Now it's your turn!"
Grandpa with razor strap in hand, laughed!
"Grandpa, you sure heated my butt up good. I'm going to be doing some butt rubbing for awhile."
Although Kyle had spanked me with a belt, there was nothing like the pain that a razor strap can leave on one's butt.

Hey buddy how you doing? Yeah, Kyle & Luke and I and our folks had a great Labor Day weekend.
Hard to believe I'm a senior in high school. It's "awesome" and people sure look up to us as "Big Men on Campus" if you know what I mean. Teachers are great and want to do all they can to make year go smooth. The classes are fun, especially having my best buddy, Kyle in 4 out of 6 classes like I said. Yes Steve, we'll try to behave as we don't want to go to the office and "see" the principal. Kyle and I do have a bet if one of us goes being the first the loser gets a paddling. Keep your fingers crossed as neither of us wants to go, but if you had to pick one, we won't be mad if you say who, whom would you pick will be the loser?
That's cool the "little" soccer players will have first game in l0 days. I hope they kick some little butts to get the first win! Keep encouraging them to do good, as I know you and Amy will, and they should do all right for a great season. It takes team work and I know Alex and Jason will work their little butts off to have a winning team. Hey, could you do a separate post with weekly game results so Kyle and I can follow along the season? Be easier if you did to follow games, etc.

Hey Joel, I do apologize cause man I'm only 7-8 years older & heaven knows the stupid choices I made at times as a teen & only by grace of God & good parents I made it to 25 with a good job, good wife now & stayed out of jail.
I see both guys & girls every week at work who are basically good but screw up their lives with poor choices & dont have the family support or discipline to encourage them to stay out of trouble. Some even drop out of school & parents dont seem to care. I'm grateful my dad cared enough to tan my hide as a boy when I needed it. Thats a small price compared to alternatives I see every week.
I counseled boys at the youth center like I laid it on the line with you in my earlier message. Some bawled like babies being committed to the center...a belated wake up call...& even didnt disagree when I told them they needed an ass whipping long ago. If I could have, I think then & there they would have taken one. Others turned a deaf ear to what I said & foresee them in prison later in life. Joel, I dont have all the answers but if you need advice to questions, message me & be patient, I'll try to get back to you.
Bet you dont need your ass paddled as often as you think now whether it be principal, the other guys or even that overdue one from your dad. You sound like a good kid with a good future & plans & hope they all work out. Like me, there were times I'm sure as a kid that you pushed too many wrong buttons & should've gotten your tail toasted but that is water under the bridge as they say. Keep focused on your sports & studies & stay away from trips to the "paddling" office your senior year...ok guy?

Matt, saw your message from earlier this week. Like you, my dad was a belt user when I needed as a teen. The paddle at school had holes...max 10 swats but only earned that once in 9th grade along with 2 buddies caught cheating. In fact we opted 5 extra across our jeans to avoid a note home that for sure would've gotten my ass a bare whipping. Think you would've taken 15 at school wearing jeans to avoid the belt bare ass at home? The worst at home was twice at 14 & 17 when I got a strapping bare ass from dad.
You guys go for a second win tonight & congrats on the victory last Friday. Try to keep your butt "cooled down" your senior year.

I'm one of the members of the football team that is doing the bet-loss-spanking thing, and buddies with Kyle and Joel.
Paddling will not be new to me. My dad first introduced getting a wooden paddle applied to my butt when I was around in the 6th grade age level.
Up to that time I had been receiving hand spankings from my dad, and if my mom spanked on occasion it was with a kitchen wooden spoon that really left a butt hurting! So my dad made a homemade paddle in his woodshop and drilled holes in it to make it hurt more.
It sure did. Not that I didn't deserve each paddling I got, I wished I had been more better behaved at home.
I got paddlings in school, but was lucky enough to not get any until early high school.
As for home now, dad uses his belt when I need to get my butt spanked, and he does not disappoint me in this matter.
Dad doesn't know about my joining the football/bet/loss/spanking group, not that if we get losses he would spank me for that 'cause he would never do that. I just thought it would be fun to do and help me and everyone else become better players.

Joe-thanks for your interest in my getting the paddle used on my butt at home from my dad and sometimes at school.
Yeah, my dad liked to use the paddle he made on me at home to teach me. I'm glad if I gotta get my butt spanked that it's a paddle on mybare butt and not my dad's belt like some of the guys get.
My buddy Kyle gets the belt used on him from his dad, as for my other buddy Joel he has never had his dad spank him for whatever reason his dad might have. Lucky guy!
My dad made the paddle, but it doesn't have holes in it like the one principal uses at school. Dad printed on the paddle ATTITUTE ADJUSTMENT as a reminder that my attitute needs to be corrected now and then. He sure adjusts my bad attitude when I need it and can make my butt really sore and hurting where I can't sitdown for while. I always get paddled on the bare butt.
Yes, I've gotten paddled at school before, last year a couple times in 11th grade. One for avoiding detention.
You mentioned you got the paddle through l0th grade. What were some rules you broke? I bet you had a hard time sitting down when the principal finished with you?
You got 3-4 swats and could take them pretty good, but 5-6 caused you more problems? I see you traded an after school detention to get to a job after school? What kind of job did you have?
Your dad usually paddle you at home if at school got'em? Was a note sent home or a phone call? They do it both ways at our school.
WE have no dress code, so usually the guys wearing jeans when they get paddled. I got one wearing jeans and one with wearing levi shorts. I think wearing the shorts one hurt the most? I did some serious buttrubbing. I got it before gym class and thought the guys would make fun of me at showertime, but they thought it was "cool" seeing my red butt inthe showers, plus we play sports on teams so it's kinda "jock thing".
Did you play sports in school and get paddling for guys to see?

Hi Steve-It sure sounds like your friend Jakes's dad really blistered your butt with that razor strap if it took you almost a week to recover.
And I think I got it bad when my dad paddles my butt butt with the paddle in my room. Yeah, Joel sure was curious about the paddle because it doesn't have holes in it. Probably just as well as it would hurt more, and it hurts enough as it does right now when I get it.
So I won't say a thing to my dad that he should have put holes in it, like the one you got paddled with from your bud Tom and our principal's paddle at school has holes in that one that really leaves a sore butt, but when I've had it used on me, and Joel says he has one time on him we didn't have to bare our butts and got it over seat of our jeans. Thank God.
Lucky you again, not getting paddled in school if not allowed and you mentioned you have boys that don't have to worry about getting paddled at school not allowed? How old are they? If their school allowed it, would you want them to be paddled? If they did would you give them another one when they got home? It seems to be what dad's do, I don't know why but, you'd figure we paid the price at school getting paddled, why again.
What kinds of things did you do at home that caused your mom to ground you or take away priviledges? I've done all sorts of things I'm not proud of doing, but I guess its better that I gets paddled then getting away with something and it teaches me a lesson so I don't do something really bad and it causes me more grieve then just getting punished having my butt blisted.
Yeah Joel wanted to see the paddle and feel what it felt like with no holes. I didn't have a problem baring my butt for him and Joel as they've seen me in showers at school and changing in P.E. class.

Been a busy week at work & newlywed so just now responding. I have no right to "scare the crap" with either you or Kyle. But from your messages, I've come to see you guys as basicly normal good teens and yes with a future. Its past & best left there but since you brought up the incident with the 13 year olds at camp, I respond with this:
My dad was in corrections & so grew up hearing him talk. As an only child, he wanted to make sure I was never among the stats of either the "spoiled brat only child" or "juvenile delinquent" he knew in corrections. If it took some warnings & butt whippings, so be it. He felt there never was that boy or girl so good that didnt need the "sit down talk" or "his/her butt tanned from time to time". You know Joel, in honesty he was right. I've looked at friends & guys I grew up with...bet if you did the same...saw we did things that justified a whupped butt & more than once or twice. I pursued social sciences in college for a degree & leaned toward working with youths. Had an internship in the Division of Youth Services summer between junior/senior college years & did some volunteer work during senior year. Had a job offer at a youth detention center upon graduation. Worked with boys 12-16 committed to the center by juvenile system either for corrective misbehavior or child safety. Earlier this year I expanded into Community Service Officer position, almost like juvie probation, so to work with youth & family in community again for both correction & safety/child welfare.
As for you & Kyle at 17, it would've been a borderline case depending on your jurisdiction as to assault charges as a juvenile or at 17, an adult. Depends on statutes but could mean jail or prison time for assaulting juveniles since they were only 13. Worse, would mean a record that would halt college acceptance maybe, as well as grants, scholarships, and later mark on career resumes. Dont think you or Kyle would want that risk if even you look at yourselves as risk takers.
Joel, my dad would've skinned a layer off my hide & rightfully so if I got hauled into juvie office or jail even if a careless/stupid prank which is obviously what you & Kyle engaged in. If you were my son Joel, and maybe I have no right saying this, and I got a call or found out what you & Kyle did to those 13 year olds, it would not take coach to deal with you, I'd rip out the seat of your cargo shorts whipping your ass like you've never felt before to keep your slate clean with the law & you out of jail. I've worked with boys, many from single mom homes who were unable to control them, who were good boys but undisciplined. They cried in pillows at night homesick or realization they were at juvie center now when man all it would've taken was a good old fashion spanking like buddies & I got growing up. I didnt need it often but I knew when I reached the point to provoke dad to fetch the paddle or belt it was a real whupped ass I had coming & deep down knew why & it was justified.

Since i went to a school which did not allow corporal punishment and raised by a single mother who did not spank, by the time i got to college my only experience i getting my ass tanned was by my best buddy Jake's dad with his razor strap and belt.
Just 2 weeks into my freshman year in college my roomate (Tom) was pledging a fraternity and his pledge paddle hung on the wall. I'd seen his cherry red ass a few times so i knew he got some paddlings. I kinda of egged him on by saying it can't be that bad, don't be a wimp. So he challenged me to step up and take some swats. So i was in just my boxers and he said drop em and i did. I bentover naked and took 15 freakin licks with that paddle. Man did he roast my ass with a hard paddling. It felt like he had set my butt on fire. I think the paddle is way more intense and causes more bruising than a belt or strap.
It wasn't the last time Tom paddled and spanked me, but more on that later.

My football buddies Joel & Kyle told me about this forum, so I thought I would join in.
I'd like to say how proud I am to have a loving dad who cares enough to discipline me when I need correcting.
He uses a paddle on my butt that he's printed the message "ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT!" on it.
My dad sure knows how to leave an impression in my mind how to mend wrongful ways and an impression on my butt I have found I have for hours to remind me not to misbehave.
I was wondering if anyone else's dad uses now, or in the past, a paddle on them, and if it has a message printed on the wood and how much of an impression it leaves on their butt to not misbehave.

Hey Joe, good to hear from you.
Congratulations on getting married. I hope you and your new bride have a great life together, and when the time comes you are blessed with children. Joe from your learning while growing up from spankings from your dad or at school I know you will be a fair discipline person to them.
My best buddy Kyle and his family got to go on vacation together, we just got back Wednesday, Aug. l9, and had an awesome time. Kyle and I did some bet spankings about who the best fisherman was. Kyle, also, surprised me and "roasted" my butt again when I towel snapped him in the shower. See separate post about that.
To answer your questions: Even though Kyle and I have grownup almost all of our lives together, and especially at school seen each other shower in gym or after practices or playing sports- YES it was hard to bare my butt for Kyle to spank me.
The bet spanking of 20 licks was okay, but he sure surprised ordering back over his knee for a second spanking I wasn't even expecting, and to get l00 licks on my already sore butt was something else. It was scary Kyle getting into my face before ordering over his knee, too.
Man, he really hand spanked my butt BIGTIME!
I couldn't help but squirm, kicking and get teary-eyed, and don't think I wasn't glad when it was over to finally butt rub as he wouldn't let me after the 20 licks paddling.
Yeah, there was some red rings from that paddle that appeared on my butt. Kyle called them, "making his mark on collecting a bet!"
The hand spanking was serious and I don't know of any guy that ever got l00 licks. It took my butt almost a week to recover, and I had to attend football practice with a sore butt! I luckly got by nobody noticing after practices that I did't shower (I did later at home) so nobody would see my red, sore butt at the beginning of the wee's practices.
Joe, Kyle and I and 7 other football team members (us guys starters) are going to football/bet/spank to help us play good football. If we lose each of us gets out butts paddled of the difference of the losing score. Our first football game is Friday, Aug. 28, so we'll see how we do.

Who will get paddled/spanked first, me or Kyle, for our senior year of high school? Neither of us wants to from the principal or a coach.
I know now I can take a principal paddling without a problem after all of the paddlings/spankings I've gotten during the summer, BUT if either of us had to take one it would not have to be after school as we would be late for football practice and that would cause problems with the football coach and asst. coaches as we can't be late. While on vacation with my best buddy, Kyle, his family and mine we went to a resort that had swimming, boating, fishing, and other fun things to do.
I thought I did pretty good for 2-3 days for not doing a habit I started doing since I was a little kid, snapping people on the wet bare butt with a towel.
Over the years the receivers I've gotten have over looked this habit of mine, until in recent months that got me in trouble during high school baseball season getting snapping team members in the lockeroom and I met my match by getting my butt spanked for this not allowed rule in the locker room by my coach and fellow team mates, including my best bud, Kyle.
Kyle has tried to help me break this habit, not that I asked him to, but after snapping his bare wet butt with a towel a month ago at a YMCA CAMP job we had and I got him while showering, he thought he had me cured and I thought so too, after getting a blistering l00 licks on my bare butt a few weeks ago.
Then...while we showered after swimming at the resort I did it- I snapped Kyle's bare, wet butt in the shower with a towel as he was getting out.
BIG MISTAKE!

He ordered me to put on my swim suit and we were going to "take a little walk!"

We walked to a secluded away from the public areas in the resort and I found myself standing beside of a tree that we had been using to settle fishing bets. There would be no public around here to watch what Kyle had in store for me.
He gave me another lecture of how wrong it was to towel snap him, and then said he would teach me a lesson that he hoped would cure me of the habit.
He ordered me to grab hold of the tree with my hands and not take them away until he said I could. I did.
I then felt Kyle pull down my swim suit and left my butt bare. I didn't pay much attention when we started the "walk" but Kyle had grabbed a bag and brought it along. I glanced over my shoulder and asked, "what are you going to do?"
"Buddy, you need to be taught a lesson, and I hope I can make an impression to help you learn not to snap towels," said Kyle.
He reached instead his bag and pulled out his leather pants belt and said he was going to give me a whipping with it on my bare butt, seeing how I liked to see pain to that area by snapping things, so he would snap his belt on my bare butt!
I knew I couldn't plead my way out of it, so I stood there waiting for the first lick to snap across my wet butt. He ordered me to look at the tree and not at him.
I suddenly heard a whoose noise in the air, then the sudden pain set in on my butt as the first lick from Kyle's belt landed.
"OUCH! That hurt, Kyle," I remember saying. But after that I didn't have time to comment again as Kyle landed another lick of his belt on my butt. Then another, as the pain really started to set in, then another, then another...until what semed like 5 minutes or more, my butt felt like it was really on fire like no other spanking I had been given before.
I remembered grimcing each time a lick hit, and wished it was over with. I think being wet on my butt added to the fire I was feeling!
I didn't keep track of the licks KYle gave me, but after maybe another 5 minutes he finally stopped. When he did I wanted to grab my sore butt, and try to dance the hurt away.

Kyle wasn't done with me yet!
Before leaving for the trip we each had bought hairbrushes to use if we wanted to to help settle spanking bets for losing in fishing bets, etc. Kyle grabbed his hairbrush out of his bag, grabbed me from hugging the tree and turned me over his knee as he setdown on a nearby tree log that had fallen I guess in a storm.

I soon realized I owed Kyle an apology, and asked him to forgive me.
He reached out his hand to shake and gently gave me a bear hug, trying to avoid not to touch my on fire butt, to continue to seal our friendship!
After about an hour, I bet of butt rubb, I finally thought to try putting the swimsuit on my spanked butt. I did it slowly, and it sure added pressure to my throbbing butt, but we knew we had to get back to our tent for the evening.
When we returned Kyle helped to rub some lotion on my hurting butt, gently, we had brought with us from home and Kyle mentioned he could really feel the heat from my two buttcheeks.
"No kidding. So can I," I told him.
As I laid on my stomach, trying to fall asleep with my sore, red, hurting bare butt, I started to laugh, and Kyle did to.
My dad in a nearby tent to ours said, " Do I have to come over there to quiet you boys down?"
"No, sir!" I shouted back. But, Kyle and I did do some quiet giggling as I tried to rub the hurt away from my spanked butt, still remembering the painful lesson that Kyle tried to pound into me NOT TO SNAP TOWELS AT ANYONE AGAIN!

While on a vacation together with our families at a resort, there was a great lake for fishing!
We like to bet each other, and winner gets to give the loser a spanking on the losers bare butt.
For spanking we decided a hairbrush could be used and a leather belt. If the hairbrush was to be used the loser could be spanked anyway the winner cared to do, like over their knee or have them bend over some thing else. For the getting the belt we decided the loser had to place his hands high up above hugging a tree, while their bare butt stuck out for a good target to receive licks.
There were plenty of other activities to do at the resort, but it seemed always enough time to fish in the morning and late afternoon.
The winner collected on the loser usually right after the fishing ended. It was decided before each fishing start how the spanking would be given: hairbrush or belt.

Late afternoon-Joel wins catching most fish, gives Kyle a whipping while hugging the tree.
Day 3: Morning-Joel wins catching biggest fish, spanks Kyle with hairbrush over his knee.
Late afternoon: Kyle wins catching most fish, spanks Joel with hairbrush over his knee.
Day 4: Morning-Kyle wins catching biggest fish, whips Joel's butt hugging tree.
Late afternoon-Joel wins catching most fish, whips Kyle's butt hugging tree.
Day 5: Morning-nobody caught fish.

It was the summer of 1985 when I was 14 and about to start high school. My parents followed Dr Spock's philosophy of no spankings so I had made it to 14 never spanked.

Mark was sent to his room but Uncle Steve had me by the arm & closed the bathroom door. I'll try to answer all your questions raised on what is now on page 2 of the archives. Both boys (8 and 6yo) protest a bit when i tell them to fetch the hair brush, Alex is 6 and whines a bit more, but they know to get it quick when i ask them too. I always take down the pants and underpants, as they stand before me for a lecture on their misbehavior, so they understand why they are going to be spanked prior to taking them over my knee for the spanking. Most of the time i just use my bare hand to tan thier little butts. Yes they both jump up and down and do the 'dance', furiously rubbing thier sore red cheeks. Often they need to do 15-30 minutes, bare ass cornertime after a spanking.
Perhaps i wasn't clear about Joel keeping hands on head--- i meant that only when scolding and stripping him down, once over the knee he should take hands off head. I think its important to keep hands up and experience the 'helpless' feeling of another man, in this case his best buddy pulling down his pants, sliders/undies and or jockstrap, before being taken over the knee for the paddling. Ofcourse if he reaches back to try to block his butt just pin his arm to the samll of his back and paddle away. Maybe have him count the swats and if he messes up count, start the paddling all over!
