Right-on man. Our dad was not a first jump I'm going whip your ass dad. When the old paddle came out or his belt came off we pretty much knew why & probably said something like 'oh shit, dad's going whip ass when I/he gets home' well in advance of it happening. Dad usually send you to your room? Gotten one that stands out above all others??

Ya'll big bro to the rescue!! Dad had warned us both about smoking & the whipping we'd get. I felt the belt already & at 11 Dave hadn't & knew the kid's little ass couldn't take a whipping & owed him one for not snitch me out on a school detention I had gotten.

Don't recall exactly but dad's belt usually laid about 10-12 licks.

Yep, we traded swats & the kid tanned my butt a few times.
