Hey Steve, boy did we kick ass last night!
It was touch 'n go at first, everyone seemed nervous on both teams to put their ass on the line, until Sean got us going, and of course cheerier Joel got the huddle fired up on field and sidelines, and I did my part as defense capt.
Great we can return to state play-off game in a few weeks, but have unfinished business to try to win FIRST PLACE in the league. Need one win, unless something happens.
Like Joel said, neat having parents night and everyone got to walked on the football field for last time. I can't believe I've played my last home game.

Had something else happen last night, which I took care of at Joel's house, as Luke and I stayed over night.
Joel and Luke got to snapping towels in celebration in lockeroom after showering, none of the other team members were doing it, but had other ways to celebrate.
So I stopped them before Coach or asst. coaches came in, they were meeting with reporters. Joel thought it was okay because celebrating the win and his excuse "GOING TO STATE PLAY-OFF!"
I told him I would take care of him and Luke later on. Joel, I know didn't mean, just a slip of the mouth, said, "Don't be whoose, Kyle!" and Luke joined in, "Yeah, don't be a Whoose, Kyle!"
Why do these guys do this?
So later on, after we've take the penalty swats and had tail gate food with our parents to celebrate, at Joel's house I had a little "talk" with Joel and Luke and explained again NOT TO BE SNAPPING TOWELS IN THE LOCKEROOM!
At first they thought it was funny, but I finally got into their face and told them they each were getting a paddling!
They both believed me, and Joel demanded they get it together, so I had two little bare asses bend over side by side, hands on the desk in Joel's room and applied that frat paddle Joel bought to give them l0 good swats each, first one swats to a little ass, then the other ass, etc.
Joel earned 2 swats in penalties in football game, so his little hurt some at the begining, and Luke did okay at first with the one game swat he got.
When I gave the swats to Joel and Luke I had them each say after the swat: "Towels are for drying wet asses, and not for snapping!"
I will give them credit, at the end each did apologize for what they did and even for calling me a "whoose", which I didn't mind, because Joel was woundup and Luke just followed his lead to copy him.
So while we have most of the team over for extra practice at Joel's house, Joel and Luke are wearing extra boxers to under their football pants to "ease their pain" if they have any, which they still had red asses this morning looking in the mirror and still rubbing.
I guess I'm still "big brother" to help two buddies try to mend their ways.
And Joel went so long without snapping the towel. Will he ever learn, Steve?
At least Coach didn't catch'em, and even though everyone was celebrating the win in league and making state play-off I wondering if Coach would have let it slide last night if he caught Joel and Luke?
I wonder what this week and week after will be like, with Joel and Luke and rest of the team excited about playing?
Any comments?
