Hey Bill,

NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE, about what you told about happening to your brother four years ago. It's good to talk about things like this, and don't get me wrong as to how I want to say this, and I'm TRULY SORRY you lost your brother, BUT if people like you who care about others DON'T TALK ABOUT THINGS LIKE THIS, they and you don't realize you might be helping someone to watch for "signs" that a relative or buddy might be searching for someone to talk to or care about them enough, if they have signs or talk about being suicidal!

Its when people don't talk that they don't realize they might be able to help someone. Too many times in this world people feel they need to keep their mouth shut, but keeping their mouth shut could cause harm or death to a person to not help them!

I've had some buddies, who were not talking about or showing signs of sucide, who were depressed because things were not going right for them at the moment or maybe for a string of time, who needed to have someone encourage them to do their best and continue on with life and things will get better, if they are patient and let it.

There's been many times in my life I've let "things", some stupid, to take over my thoughts to make me 'moody' and 'not focused' and then I'd mess up and look stupid, but I never thought to be sucidal. Just someone needing to encouage me to carry on in life or a friendly 'I'll kick your little butt (or ass) if you don't stop feeling sorry for yourself, JOEL!

That snapped me back sooner then most people would think! Kyle, my mom or dad have said this to me, well maybe in different words my Mom told me, and I've had some teachers, coaches and the list goes on of people to get myself 'together and carry on with life!'

And yes, Bill it was a good WARNING from you and others if us guys were going to be shooting off fireworks this weekend to follow the guidelines and do it SAFELY so nobody got hurt!

Thanks to caring, Bill!
