Hey Steve, Bill, Spencer and Zack and I believe Matt added his comments too, so I hope Luke provided answers from what his insurance company told him and his dad, so he could tell you about the fine he got and infor on the driving school and how the speeding ticket can be taken off Luke's driving record.

I have this to add, the police in the area where my grandparents live were running SPEED TRAPS my grandpa told me when I talked with him on the phone.

And yes Steve, they are legal! I'm not trying to make a big deal about them, but they contributed towards Luke getting the ticket. If they had not been there with radar, Luke wouldn't have a ticket.

Luke was descending down a long, downhill and for a person to stay inside the speed limit you would have to brake your brake and keep slowing down going down the hill. That'e where they got Luke, and you would think they could be considerate of drivers, but they would looking to make some fast money for their depat., in these bad economic times, so they could have to sped.

They have been running the Speed Traps on other roads in the area, and say they will continue to run them.

Back to the steep hill that Luke got the ticket going down, get this, the police show no mercy. Just before school was let out for the summer they nailed a school bus driving they said was driving 5 miles over the speed limit and gave them a ticket.

That's rediculous to do that to the bus driver, don't you think? Even if that person was over the speed limit by only 5mp. Are the police that hard up for money?

I asked my grandpa did the police run a SPEED TRAP last year July 4th holiday when we visited and played baseball and celebrated? Grandpa was told that they didn't think the police did the Speed Traps, not until this year!

So that's the latest news I have, and I hope you guys don't continue to be mad at me?

Why am I being told I have a 'Bad attitude'?

Yes, I guess I should have drove, but who knew Luke was going to get a ticket. He didn't mean for it to happen!

So does that make me 'bad' and have a 'bad attitude'?

What's this bit that I deserve to get my butt paddled? I didn't do anything wrong to have me earn one!

Sure, Luke elected to take a paddling, not that his dad said he earned or deserved one for getting the speeding ticket, and I guess you Steve and Bill won't rest until I get my little bare butt whacked with the "attitude adjuster" which I don't need my attitude adjusted and it wasn't my fault Luke went over the speed limit to mean that my butt deserves to get paddled because I didn't drive us home, but you two will still want me to, I bet?

At least Spence, Zack and Matt can see I don't deserve to get paddled.

So what this boils down to is, I should have drove Luke and I hope and then it would have been a 50/50 chance, me not knowing about the Speed Trap, that I would have or not received a speed ticket had I drove my car that night.

I bet if I got a ticket, my butt wouldn't have gotten paddled. Before anyone asks, NO I didn't ask my dad if I would have been given one, Luke's butt wasn't going to get paddled, but he asked for a paddling to be given to him.

So where do we go from here?

I know...Joel bend over...WHACK! WHACK! WHACK!
