I think most of you guys have hit the nail on the head. You guys are living proof that some good old-fashioned discipline works.

I am new as far as posting but I have read your accounts.of being spanked at home by your parents; at school by your principals and coaches; and even in some instances where some of you have been spanked by your friends' parents.

I think kids are out of control today because the school administrators' hands are tied and some parents won't do anything because they are afraid family services will be called on them. Clearly, the pendulum has swung too far in the opposite direction.

I was bullied at school when I was young and the school administration couldn't stop it. I hit Junior High at roughly the same time that CP in schools started to fall out of favor and I do not think it is an accident that the situation is worse today than it was even when I was in school.
