I guess I have a slightly different take. I could see Kyle getting it again tonight, after all, he was the instigator, but why is Joel's butt on the line too? Or, for that matter, why would, Sean's, Luke's, Cody's and Evan's butts be on the line if their involvement became known? As I see it, the only thing Joel did was to tell Kyle and his dad that he wasn't going to put up with the dirty looks and the comments anymore and he and the others drove that point home a week ago with the spanking that they inflicted on Kyle's rear end.
