Hey Big Brother,

Thanks for thinking of me and taking the time to leave me a message. Whow, a date with Jeanne last night and you took time enough to send me GET WELL WISHES! I appreciate that, and I hope you and Jeanne had a great evening out!

I'm not suppose to "play" with the computer while I'm getting well, so I'll make this fast before I get discovered.
I'm feeling better, but still have some chest discomfort, have a barking cough, etc. The drugs they have me on are helping so I can't complain. I go see the doctor on Monday and hope I get the okay to go back to school and basketball practice.
If I get denied I'll have to BEG that I can get okay to go back on Tuesday as I have to be at the practice to be allowed to play in the game Wednesday.
I go tmy mind made up, we had a crappy losing season. In my school sports career I've never played on any teams that finished in last place like we did in hoops this year, so I'm going to make up for it in the tournament run.

Coaches, news people, etc. always say its a NEW SEASON when tournment time comes, of course they call it March Madness. I'm calling it a season to KICK ASS! And nobody is going to stand in my way to try to prevent me from not winning a trophy or two for my school and some hardware/medals for me and the rest of the team.

Big Brother, I need ll points to get me into the School l,000 Point Basketball Club Hall of Fame, to answer your questions. I hope I can get that many points Wednesday night, despite my bad health, not practicing, etc., but I'll put the matter in God's hands. I know the Bible says He helps thoses who help themselves, but I will do the best I can to help myself to get back into playing condition, but I won't be no l00% or 90% or even 80%, but if you could put in a few extra prayers for a Little Brother I sure would appreciate it to help me to play some good basketball Wednesday night, win that and it's the District Championship Title game Friday night.

Because of our lousy record our team is being written off not to win anything, but I've seen in past years high school teams like that come through and have an end of the season winning season. They call them Cinderella Teams. I'll accept being on a team like that, and as for the name being lady like and finding a glass slipper, I'll just go back to call such a team that KICK'S ASS!

I was able to set up at end of my bed, after getting permission, that nerf basketball hoop that the hospital candy striper gave me and have done some in bed hoop shooting. Works great with the ball hooked on the string thing I fixed last time.
I have been allowed some TV watching time, besides getting BED REST AND SLEEPING from the drugs they have me on.
I flurted with a special lady yesterday who "freshened up" my bed linens to see if I might get a special reward meal for "being good good" and I've requested a steak, french fries, salad and a piece of chocolate pie for today. Before leaving the room I did hear the comment from that great looking gal, "that might be arranged! I know a certain young, handsome athlete who needs to build his strength back up, despite him having a sexy body!"

(Bait taken?)

That would be great to hear from Dave with a message.

Glad your folks and grandparents had a great time on the cruise, seeing some great places.

YOU & DAVE did an AWESOME job at the office for Mom and Dad, and I hope they really tell you how appreciative they are, not that they really need to because the business was left in good hands the day they left!

Well, I better get off here before my little butt gets discovered and I get it and me into trouble.

Remember, I need some extra prayers for this week, and if all goes well hoopster Joel will be back at his "office" kicking some ass!
And remember too, Big Brothers like YOU & Dave will be in my thoughts as I play the game, shoot the ball and score the needed points to WIN and YOU will be apart of this tournament run called...MARCH MADNESS!
