That's OK, Luke. I realize I am new and we are getting to know each other. The only thing I would suggest to you is that a lot of things will probably come out through the normal course of events. But I understand your perspective and I will try to be more patient with you guys. I think I did it again in my earlier response to Joel. You guys need to understand that I am not perfect either and if I went too far any of you can tell me.

I just read your account and posted a response. I hope you learned your lesson. And, you are still grounded.:D

Well she won't be home and as I write this arrangements are being made to transfer her to a skilled nursing facility for some physical therapy. I will have to speak to the staff at the facility. My niece is coming in and she had a baby boy last December that none of us have seen. Joel tells me that none of you have ever held a baby in your arms. That is the COOLEST MOST AWESOME experience. I reiterate my challenge to all of you to ask your parents to describe their feelings the first time they held you.

It was my mom's mom and she talked about it a lot. My father probably just tuned her out.

If CP is allowed, they almost have to do that these days.

Ditto.

I really couldn't answer that because I never got paddled by the principal.

I think a parental conference was required and that is when consent was requested by principal.

That's OK. I don't mind talking about it. I have worked through it pretty much. I think when someone commits suicide they have done a very selfish thing. Your actions affect others and my brother's actions hurt everyone in my family. Suicide is NOT the answer to ANY problem. I hope if any of you have difficulties you will talk to your parents and if you know of a friend who is contemplating suicide, TELL SOMEONE (your principal, coach, school counselor, etc.).

Good for him. My parents would certainly been justified in doing the same when they busted me with those cigarettes way back when.

As I told him, I thought that was real smoothe on his part.

I read that account. I disagree that you should have given each other that second paddling. I think that his dad should have given you the second paddling and your dad should have given him the second paddling.

Actually we went ice skating that week and he gave it to me on the bench at the skating rink.

Didn't really bother me. I actually bamboozled him into doing it.

Not my 7th hour math teacher. My math teacher gave me a 7th hour. She just kept me after school.

Not at all, Luke. Joel got me a little flustered earlier today. If you would, read my response to him and let me know if I went too far.
