Hey Brothers,

>I listed a separate "What Is Everyone Doing For
>Mother's Day" I forgot to tell you about.

Joel, saw it and was planning a reply last night while replying to other messages but phone rang and it was Jeanne and shut down computer for night. I was home cause Jeanne was at her place awaiting her brother, Kris, due to get in. He was staying the night and then both off early this morning for their mom's for Mother's Day. Kris got in and was still 'wired' from driving & so Jeanne thought why not the 3 of us slip out for a visit and maybe a drink. I met him at his dad's funeral in January. Had a great time & crashed about midnight.

>I was especially excited because both sets of my
>grandparents are for Mother's Day Weekend to watch me
>play baseball for the first time for them in my high
>school career!

Joel, that is simply awesome. I'm routing for you to have your best day ever on the field and at bat.

>For a Mother's Day gift to my mom, and two grandma's I
>bought each a rose bush to plant in the ground, called
>AMERICAN BEAUTY.

You're a real cool & thoughtful dude. Bet they bear hug you and plant a little TLC on your little slapped cheek.
You're a real sentimental 'ladies man' and Holly doesn't fully realize what a great guy she apparently had. Hope maybe the other girls can talk to her & set her straight while Sean, Luke & Cody work on Kyle. This ego crap has got to come to an end.

Tonight we're out on the town to honor our moms. I'll be the 5th wheel on the cart with Jeanne gone but wanted to be here tonight for my mom and give Jeanne and Kris some time with their mom alone--first Mother's Day since their dad died. Mom and Mollie's mom will have corsages to wear to dinner from Dave and I and don't know what the dads have in mind for their wives. Dave sent a big bouquet to Mollie's office yesterday & likely has a small wrapped token for the new mom-to-be. Got mom a perfume and talc duo in a gift box I think she'll like. Us 4 guys are going first class for dinner, drinks, music and if the ladies want, dancing.

Dave, Mollie and her folks are out today and think they'll decide on the house that her mom & dad want to help them with as a wedding gift. Seems like they'd make the down payment as the gift & then Mollie & Dave only do monthly payments at no or low interest. That's one hell of a good gift to get them started. I think it's between a modest two story townhouse or one story with more yard.

I'm hitting the road early in AM tomorrow to join Jeanne and her mom & brother and we'll do Mother's Day dinner and then Jeanne will drive back with me and Kris is spending a few days to a week visiting with his mom. Think that is cool & something they both need. In 2 weeks is Jeanne's birthday & her mom will come here & we'll celebrate. Got ideas but nothing firmed. Been gradually moving clothes & small items to the folk's house as we vacate the apt at end of month. Being 3-day holiday weekend 29th-31st, will do most moving then. Once the house deal closes, Dave can move some stuff to the new house too before the wedding.

You guys all have a great weekend with your moms and grandmas celebrating. Talk later---
