Hey Big Brothers,

What do you think of this news?????????????

I'm on Cloud 9 and a lifetime dream has been told to me that I've always wondered that would ever come true.

I have my head screwed on tight, I don't have a big swelled head about this news, and I will continue to be the disciplined-minded baseball player that I have been.

For folks and grandparents are thrilled, especially my dad, to hear this news.

But of course, I wanted to hear what the scout had to say or offer, and before this day came I was planning on and still will be attending college FIRST, before I make a decision if I should become a major league baseball player. I could graduate, and then be "drafted" by an interested team!

I thank you for caring enough to make the suggestion that I "wait and attend college first and play baseball for them," which I was planning on doing first.

My dad had told me, "it was going to be my decision on what I wanted to do." He didn't want to run my life, but he was hoping I would go to college first, but if an offer came by some team that was really to good to be true that I should seriously look at it.

As you can see the scout said there are no player roster openings in the major league or minor league teams he represents, but that doesn't mean there won't be in the future, so I'll go to college and use my talent to help their team win games, and give the girls a "thrill" and see what life has to offer.

Be interesting to see and hear what the girls think and comment about me in a college baseball uniform, which I was wondering before Luke made his comment.

Us Big Brothers need to talk to him, don't you think?

I have a baseball scholarship, and I've been told I have opportunity to from scholarships to play football and basketball on the college teams too, besides paying some of it with my own money, and I'm waiting on some other scholarships I applied for, but won't know if I won them until announced at honor assembly, the night before graduation.

The college I'm going to is in our hometown area, and Sean and Kyle will be going there too, so we got to get Kyle straightened out to be my Big Brother again.

We applied to a number of colleges and were accepted, but thought with the economy the way it is it would be great to attend close to home, cost less, and we would be giving something back to the community from our sports playing abilities to help the college in recognition that it is known for-good sports-winning teams!

Besides, need to keep the Three Musketeers together, right?
