Yeah. One-size-fits-all reporting doesn't cut it for this old geezer. I would rather hear directly from each one of you. Congrats on winning the tournament.

I know what you mean. In case you haven't heard, my 82 year-old mother is in a skilled nursing facility. She lives at home but I had to take her to the ER earlier this week and she was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. She was transferred to a skilled nursing facility on Friday after her temperature got under control and tomorrow she'll start physical therapy. Add to that, my niece, who had a baby last December that I haven't seen yet, is in town. I'M PUMPED ABOUT GETTING TO SEE MY GREAT NEPHEW!!!! I don't know whether or not you have ever held a baby in your arms--Joel and Luke have told me that they have not--but let me tell you that holding a baby is the absolute COOLEST AND MOST AWESOME experience. If you haven't, I challenge you to ask your parents to describe their feelings the first time they held you.

Sounds like you did your part; to help your team.

Yep.

They are off to a good start. I just hope we don't have any more episodes like the one the other night when the Cardinals were playing the Phillies in Philadelphia and a 17 year-old punk kid jumped on to the field during the game. I don't know if you checked out that thread but we have been having quite a conversation about it. Picture this: You and Kyle, Joel, and Sean are at a MLB game. Let's say that one of you (Cody perhaps) jumps onto the field while the game is going on. A cop tasers you and leads you away in handcuffs; all the while your father is at home in the living room watching the game on television. I'll bet he'd be livid and you would probably not be sitting down for a good long time. (Check out the thread on that episode.) I couldn't believe someone actually had the audacity to pull a stunt like that. If I were that kid's father, I would give it to him good with my belt.

Have fun.
