The 94th Indy 500 Race, which ran on Sunday, 5-30-2010, is now history.

It was won by Dario Franchitti, winning his second Indy 500, his first was in 2007.

He was not picked by the above betters, who bet their butt not to get paddled with 5 swats on the bare butt with their pick of a favorite driver, but when the race was finished it looked like Luke had picked correct that driver Scott
Dixon (who finished 5th) would be the top finisher above the five picks, and it looked like Luke would be the Man with the paddle to give out swats to the four losers.

Luke was ready at the end of the race with a wood paddle with drilled holes in it, to have the losers line up, bare their butt one by one and was ready to give each a bare butt paddling for losing the bet, while he was the winner, but that all changed suddenly.

Driver Marco Andretti who had been picked by Joel to win and was listed as finishing the race in 6th place, posted for a ruling with Indy 500 officials to change and improve his final finish standing,which he thought should be as high as 4th place, when on the last lap a caution flag came out due to an accident while he maintained his same speed, and saw drivers Scott Dixon, Alex Lloyd and Danica Patrick pass him when Mike Conway crashed his car into a wall.during the race. It is illegal for drivers to pass another driver while the yellow caution flag is out, and Andretti asked to be moved up into the final finish standings.

When this happened Luke was stopped from collecting his winning the bet with his paddle, which then saw 2hrs. pass before a final ruling was made by Indy 500 officals to change the final standings and award Marco Andretti from 6th place to move him up to 3rd place to allow JOEL to be declared the WINNER of the bet contest; followed by placing drivers: Scott Dixon picked by Luke to drop to 5th place, then Danica Patrick picked by Kyle to finish 6th, followed by Helio Castroneves picked by Cody to finish 9th and Graham Rahal picked by Sean to finish the race in 12th place.

As you can see Luke became disappointed and declared he "was robbed not winning the bet with the choice of his driver" but being a good sport said, Joel, is the true and correct winner!"

Joel was handed the paddle by Luke, and Joel asked Luke, Kyle, Sean and Cody which of them would like to be first to bare their butt to receive their 5 swats, which they would receive while their butt was resting over Joel's lap.

Luke said he "would go first!" He dropped his summer shorts he was wearing and then pulldown his underwear boxer shorts to bare his little butt and then slipped across Joel's lap to receive his 5 swats, which Joel applied the paddle and made Luke's butt red within a few minutes. Let up, Luke did some serious butt rubbing, and commented "darn you, Joel!"

Then each of the other three losers, Cody, Sean and then Kyle, took turns separately to bare their butt, going over Joel's lap to receive their 5 swat paddling to make their butt become red as much as Luke had, and when all was finished with saw themselves joining him and doing some serious butt rubbing too.!

Kyle commented when it was all over with, "it always seems Joel has all of the luck and wins most of these bets. How did he figure this Indy 500 race bet to go in his favor, even when at first it looked like he had lost and he would get his butt paddled?"

Joel had a slight smile on his face and commented, "its gamblers' luck, I guess, Kyle" and handed back to Luke the paddle Luke thought he was going to get to use on everyone, especially on Joel's little butt, which was still white as snow, while everyone else had a slightly sore, red butt to remind them of their losing an Indy 500 race bet.

Of course, there is always next year to bet again for the losers!
