Hey guys, this is 100% crap. First, the paddling at the shed sounds illegal & that dude could be charged with assault. He's an adult & in general at 17/18 so are you guys. He's not your dad or a person authorized to punish you. You guys should have called one or more of your dads & let them talk the matter over with him as adult friends. You had nothing to fear from police or your dads.

Joel, just as with your grandpa last Thanksgiving, this was unjustified. Even your grandpa had more right to bare your ass and whip you than this dude. He committed assault & telling you to bare ass makes morals charges an option.

Get to your dads ASAP & get this out in the open. If your dads agree, bring in the police. If you guys are truly innocent as you say & I think you probably are, this is 100% wrong what happened.

As for suspecting Kyle as the mystery witness, that hangs in doubt without more evidence, but see why you might suspect. If Kyle is guilty of this malicious prank, he needs to pay dearly and if guilt is established, not just you guys resolving it but maybe time to bring his dad into the mix with your dads and have a real man-to-man airing. If Kyle would pull such a stunt & I hope he hasn't because deep down I think him a really good guy, he could've already hurt his future & himself and tells me he needs to be reined in before he does something even more stupid.

Little brothers---got home and Dave showed me this message from Joel + the original from all of you. Neither Dave nor I can tell you what to do but this is seriously wrong & it needs attention as a criminal matter. Now if you guys are playing games to cover up a prank on the wet greens you actually did & got caught, then I have no pity for you. At that, it still would not be that guys place to punish you & if anyone should haul you bare ass, it would be your dads. Remember Joel last summer when I chewed you & Kyle for paddling those kids you caught stealing at summer camp. I told you what you did was wrong & it was. This guy is no different & overstepped his rights. He assaulted you guys & foolishly you took it rather than high-tail out of the shed or stand your ground & say call our dads & police, we did nothing wrong. No guy in a golf course shed has any right to tell you to strip down your britches for a bare ass paddling--wake up guys you're old enough at 17/18. If I was your dad, I'd see his butt hauled off to jail & this incident thoroughly investigated. If my advice means anything to you, get off those unjustly paddled asses of yours & talk to your dads immediately.

Dave & I are about to eat dinner but what's happened Sunday with you guys takes my appetite away. I hope you do RIGHT NOW what's right. Let us know if & when other things come to light on this.
