Hey Brothers,

Sorry I ruined your appetites yesterday with Sean, Cody, Luke and I 's message. Maybe we shouldn't have shared what happened Sunday, didn't do it to brag, but more wanted a few opinions, and we got your two.

I saw your message and with the advice you gave, I truly thank you for giving it as it served as a BIG PUSH! I went to talk to my dad, and I sure was shaking and had a hard time trying to tell him what happened Sunday. It took me l5 mins. I'm not sure he believed me at first, because of his friendship and Sean's dad, Cody's dad and Luke's dad, having with the golf course owner for about 15 years.

My dad said the famous line guys like to hear, "Boy, you better be telling the truth or you can expect a real paddling that will result in your you little ass not wanting to sitdown for a week!"

I was told to wait on my room, where I had the talk with my dad. I found out he phoned the other dad's and he and I were going to meet them with Sean, Cody and Luke at the police station.

When we got there our dad's told the police they needed to hear about an incident that happened to each of us together, and they wanted each of us privately to tell it to a police office. Man, talk about being scared, but the truth was on my side and Sean, Cody, and Luke, and each of us told about the paddlings in the shed of the golf course.

Each police officer we talked to talked to our dad's and said an investigation will be taking place, and it won't take too long, but the police told our dad's the words we wanted them to hear, "Sirs, I believe your sons are telling the truth! The golf course owner has been under some investigation, but that's all we can say for tonight. Please have your sons not talk to anyone about this, and we'll have you come back with them in a day or so."

So Big Brothers, you don't know what a big load is off my mind and shoulders, besides Sean, Cody and Luke. Because of YOU TWO, giving me the benefit of the doubt, and I saw you believing me, but maybe 1% not telling the full truth, you gave me the courage to go to my dad and get this out in the open.

One good thing the police are going to do is try to keep this investitation not open to the public and news media for our protection as much as possible. When I know more I will let you guys know too.

Yes, us guys should have gone to our dad's, but I guess you had to be in our shoes, I sure was scared and Sean, Cody and Luke were too, especially when that man said he would go to the police and he had a witness. We told him we did NOT destroy his putting green, driving over it with golf carts and that would be our word against his, but when he told us he had a witness, that did it there. Sure we are innocent, but who is the witness and will they lie to help the owner?

The police will try to find out who the mystery witness is. When each of us talked to the police we DID NOT tell them we thought it was Kyle or even mention his name. In our eyes he is still innocent, and that's why we gave him the benefit of the doubt too. We did not tell our dad's that we thought Kyle was the mystery witness.

Kyle still has acted "funny" towards me especially, friendly some, and okay with Sean, Cody and Luke.

Because of what happened Sunday it sure took a toll on us guys. Of course we had the sore butts, trying to sleep Sunday night and doing it lying on our stomaches and bare butt-mooning the ceilings trying to sleep, and then there was trying to be comfortable sitting in class on Monday, but the worse was we had a non-league baseball game away, a bus ride there and playing the game.

Up until then, on Monday it came down to Sean, Cody, Luke and me making some errors. Before that game we had made no errors in previous games. I think it caused us in our loss of 10-7, OUR FIRST LOSS OF THE SEASON!

Each of us still had sore butts, sure we wore our sliding pants and extra other clothing underneath, but we each could still feel some soreness and I did the big mistake in NOT SLIDING, getting down when I was trying to slide into third base on a triplet hit.

After the game Coach had every right to do what he did in giving me a BIG ASS CHEWING! I wanted to tell him so bad why my mind told me not to slide, because my butt still hurt, but I was too ashamed to, and besides Coach does not like excuses when your suppose to do what your suppose to do.

As for the errors Sean, Cody and Luke did during the game, they were typical errors one would make in a game and Coach was not upset! But it sure pissed me off, not getting the ass chewing, but not making my ass slide when I should have!
I sure feel bad, and want to tell Coach why I didn't slide, but at least I didn't lie to him or make an excuse up why I didn't. I just took the ass chewing I deserved and, told him I, "was sorry and as a senior I should have known better to slide and it wouldn't happen again!"

Speaking of ass chewing, Big Brothers. I know in your message you told me, Sean, Cody and Luke to "take your advice and go talk to our dad's", which we finally got the courage up to do. At least I started the ball rolling, and the guys said this would not have happened to tell our dad's had I not started it.

All of guys feel stupid. Here we are l7/18 yrs. old and are suppose to, or at least expected to, make right choices and decisions, but I guess were are not the adults or almost adults people look for us to be. I'm not making excuses, but I had fear in not why I didn't go to my dad, and the other guys did too, among other things.

Big Brothers, we owe you both a BIG THANK YOU. I don't know how we can repay you for giving us the "push" that you did. I believe your words in doing so were respectable to us as Little Brothers until you saw how this was going to play out.

I expected all of our dad's to give each of us a BIG ASS CHEWING for not coming to them to report this matter. Until all comes out, they are probably in shock why we let this happen to ourselves, and like you both said should have walked our asses out of and left the shed.

Can I ask a favor, please? And this is for all of the guys, too. As Big Brothers, would you please give us an ass chewing so we will try, no, so we will DO THE RIGHT THING if there is another time so we don't screw up and will know what to do and not look like immature adult fools and asses!

I'll keep you posted on what is happening, be a day or two with the investigation, but thanks for having faith, I believe I'm reading that right, in four Little Brothers who really look up to you and for advice, especially when we have weak moments and question ourselves whether we should go to our dads, when we should and don't!
