Hey Big Brothers...

It was the sweetest slamdunk I have ever seen a guy make playing basketball, and Joel was really hustling after he stole the ball and made the dunk that brought the croad to its feet!

I think there has to be some insurance to cover the cost of a new backboard so it doesn't come out of the pocket or Joel or his dad that the school should be able to collect.

As for Kyle thinking that Joel's little ass has seen its better days, and probably is going to get punished, I can't see how that could happen to Joel.

It was a slamdunk that all of us guys on the team have done in practice fooling around and a few of us have done in games, but nobody has broken a backboard before.

I wonder if this could be the "payback" I could do for Joel? Think his dad would let my ass take Joel's place and get paddled? I owe Joel you know!

What was really cool too, people or "souvenir hunters" were grabbing pieces of the shattered glass of the backboard for keepsakes, a few little kids wanted Joel to autograph'em.

I got a couple of pieces myself, have kept one and given one to Joel. I wonder if they will be worth anything someday?

I know Kyle mentioned when he saw that I got them and gave Joel his piece that "too bad they weren't pieces of cloth that Joel could put down in the seat of his underpants if he was to get paddle." But I know for a fact, Joel's dad paddles him bare butt, so that wouldn't do Joel any good!
