Hey Big Brothers, great to see & hear your comments about this issue that somehow has gotten my dad worked up about. He took me by surprise, I was studying for exams and came into my room and said he wanted a father/son taught. Of course I asked did I do something wrong? Nope was his reply and then he did the Mark McGwire/drug taking talk and that I had better not to, etc.

If my dad had said the loving/threat of going to paddle me a few years ago, no doubt my ears would have perked up. I know I would have went into shock my dad making such a statement.
I will agree, dude, that there is probably a bigger loving/bond between my dad and me. Not that he wasn't loving/caring and looking out for me before now, but I think it's cool that we had the talk.
And yes, Dec. 6th liberated me and my dad in a healthy & bonding way. I guess this is probably what you were mentioning about the last time you and your dad had a "talk" and you asked him to give you the whipping you deserved for sneaking the vodak with your buddy and was never caught for it and you wanted to set things right, right?
I do believe its good for dads, teachers, coaches, and others to remind us athletes to follow the rules and make sure we are not breaking them, harming ourselves and not embarrassing our school in wrong actions we could take.
If we hadn't had exams last week I bet in health class the teacher would have brought up the Mark McWire/drug issue. I know our basketball coaches remind us players, and hey, they would know if a player was doing something wrong and not being themselves in practices or play in games.

Speaking of checking on people, Holly gave me a call mid-afternoon yesterday and wanted to drive over for pizza and talk. I told her it would be great. We had a great time, and she brought one of her girlfriends along for Luke to enjoy. Kyle and Julie were hanging for Saturday night.
All took place after us guys got together with other buddies earlier to finalize Sean's l8th birthday celebration that is coming up Wednesday, Jan. 20. He will have a birthday to remember on that day and some other days of extra celebrating going on. Check the separate listing on the website for WISHING HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SEAN FOR HIS l8th BIRTHDAY!
Luke almost let it slip to the girls about Sean's birthday celebration coming up we have planned. So far, we have never had girls attend because of the bare butt birthday spanking ritual tradition we have started as how would get around this? After all, I'm sure you wouldn't want a girl to see your bare butt get swatted from buddies, or would ya?
Kyle keeps "joking" that he's planning to ask girls to attend my birthday celebration coming up next month. That would really be embarrassing!
