Buddies talked about trading swats & doing swats over bets, games, dares. Learned I guess from older brothers or maybe even heard their dads talk. Don't think us the first generation. As Dave got old enough, he was included.

Jeanne is a friend of Mollie who's engaged now to Dave. She lives & works here but her folks lived away. Her mom came back with her last night to stay awhile & be away from empty house syndrome. A 3-day holiday weekend gave me an excuse to drive over Saturday morning & stay til yesterday too. Did you dudes have a school holiday yesterday?

Yes, heart & they suspect from exertion from cold & heavy snow trying to shovel. Was not obese but not necessarily good shape if you know what I mean--otherwise good health.

How did your dad find out? He make a paddle when you were a kid to use when needed & keep it hanging as a reminder growing up? Go bare butt most times or only when dad thinks its serious? He do the across the leg like Spencer's dad or bend your ass over something? Sympathy??--were you not guilty? Think you now owe Spencer a payback for the second ass paddling you took?

Did you get some public paddlings alone and with buddies for others to enjoy watching?

Not public as such like you dudes got. Got my butt school paddled with other guys around. There was no mystery that I was getting paddled at home.

> You got the belt first at age l6.

No, in 8th grade when caught skipping school & then forged am excuse note too. Last at 16. Your old man ever have to whip your ass for cutting school? Ever try forging a note?

Always had older buddies with fake IDs or someone would heist from their folk's cabinet. Not caught.
