And I wouldn't let you down. From what I've learned about you if I was to step out of line, my butt would be bared and you'd have at IT to teach me a lesson.

Think you could borrow David's paddle or you have something else in mind?

Question, I should probably ask David, but I'll ask you and still David, what made David keep the paddle your dad used on him and you? Some guys would want to throw it away after growing up, or do you think David thought so much about your dad caring to use it on him to help correct him with love that he felt he needed to hang on it and look back now and then on those past years, like you said you saw him looking at it the other night.

You said your dad drilled holes in it, did he give it a stained finish to protect the wood so there would be no splits applied to a butt when it was use?
