Won't say I never did that but escaped detection at least. I did forge an excuse note once in 8th grade & that was caught & my ass paid a high price at school & home.

I had notes too when it was a paddling I earned like 8th grade skipping school but opted swats to avoid detention, stayed at school.

Just empty back pockets & bend over. 3 swats = 1 hour after school detention and when over, a quick rub as I put my billfold back in & out of there.

That was the max. Usual in HS was 5-10.

Not sure why, but know the belt sets your ass a hurting. At least I never got the razor strop like grandpa used on my dad growing up.

What earned the belt rather than dad's paddle? The routine & your reaction about the same with belt as with paddle or belt break your spirit quicker?
