Hey Joel--- hey buddy do NOT beat yourself up about missing shots at the end of the game. Thats NOT the only reason you lost the game! I'm sure there were lots of other turnovers or missed free throws or shots during the game which ALL contribute to the defeat. I see that you guys are taking swats for losses and mistakes which will provide motivation.

Sounds like your disappointed that your dad let you boys off with a warning instead of paddling your butts. Its fair though since technially you did not break curfew since time was not set. BUT when my boys get older and if they break a set curfew they can expect a good tanning.

Since i don't know your mom my one piece of advice is to buy her a WANT and NOT a need. Meaning don't buy her anything that involves work like cooking applicances and stuff like that. Better to buy maybe a salon gift certificate or a massage or something to pamper her, something she would not buy for herself.
