Hey Luke--- been away for a few days, so sorry for delay in responding. I'll address your other posts regading the razor strap whippings in Joel's grandpa'a barn after i finish this note. First off congrats on another BIG win!

Having experienced getting my ass spanked with a razor strap, belt and paddle (in college), i'd say the strap hurts the most with paddle next and a belt the least painful of the three. Ofcouse that can always be adjusted to reflect more licks . When Jakes' dad blistered our butts with his belt for the reckless boating he gave our asses 50 licks each with his belt. BUT i'd still say the 20 licks with the raxor strap hurt more than 50 licks with his belt.
We did hear a few dads with their boys hollering and kinda of cheering him on as he whipped our tails. Just as bad a few comments in the showeroom with our wet asses on display. EVEN the damn Lake Patrol Officer stopped by the showers and saw our red butts and told us we got what we deserved. I'm not saying we didn't deserve the whipping, just embarrassin that he had this evil grin and he went out of his way to see our red blistered asses.

When Jakes dad strapped my ass, Jake was holding me down in front pinning my shoulders, so no opportunity to bring my hands back and shield my butt. When get whipped with the belt we had to keep our hands up high and hug that tree.

Razor straps (strops) are not as common today. Original purpose was to sharpen shaving razors at a barver shop (not whipping asses) but with electic shavers and disposable razors invented made razor strops almost obsolete.

I'll write and post all the details again on that camping trip, the reckless boating and the whipping. Those were the only two spankings i got. I did get my butt paddled in college by my roomate. Details in older posts.
