Real awesome for sure for all 3 of you it sounds. Pretty obvious that the 'autograph' she wanted was packaged in a pair of cargo shorts or jeans. Know from other message that you're hanging loose still but Kyle said he had a gf, Julie I think he said. How is she going to take to Kyle's dance dating?

No man, not crazy. A boy and his dad is likely the most intimate relationship outside of a marriage. Dad & I talked many times growing up about many things but there is a special time when a dad reasons with his son over correction that builds a character. No principal or trading swats with friends compare to a dad's love shown when busting your butt & especially when you know in your heart it is what you earned. I might have been sore, maybe even momentarily angry, but never hated or resented my dad's discipline. I wish there was a way for you to denote that message to your dad & get that needed tough love message.

No argument on that point from me Joel. You ask me a 'what if', so I'll return that favor and ask you...what if you were dad & it got to the point Joel, at 17, deserved his butt spanked...what would you say & how would you handle the butt spanking Joel needs?

Dad described a relatively good picture. How accurate vs elaborated on is not fully known. I'd pass. I know dad loved me every time that belt came off & my drawers were down.

I figured I could 'cover' detention; a paddling might have earned a note home. I was stupid being where I was & caught so no plan to risk further.

That was a more serious stupid moment I'd rather forget. I was not into dragging on joints but some on HS campus were & thank goodness I screwed head tighter & no repeat.

Probably just transition from going over the lap & spanked to now feeling the paddle. Believe me dude, there was no protection or padding from a pair of white briefs. Our butt felt the wood & holes. If you need better image, ask Kyle to take the paddle to your butt in a pair of briefs.

Joel, at age 10 (5th grade)I assure your then never spanked bottom would have felt that paddle when I was finished. If you doubt me, ask Kyle.

Joel, maybe you understand better from this incident why I took that whipping to save Dave's 11 y/o bottom from the belt. Was Kyle always the big bro protector for you? Seeing it happen make you wish it was your butt next after Kyle?

Joel, saw your note to Dave. No comment from me so you guys work out his confession message yourselves...just thanks dude. It was not easy, I think, for him to own up/write.
