No razor strap but twice my dad whipped my ass using his belt like a leather strap rather than doubling over the leather. My dad referred to my behavior as attitude adjustment too.

I was not much of a sports jock but yes, traded swats with buds over dares, bets, games & of course, on birthdays.

Sure did. Gave many & got my butt worked over good too. There was no set pattern other than birthday boy was to go butt naked for age+1 butt whoopin.
