Hey Steve, thanks for sharing about your family's Halloween celebrating. That's good that Alex and Jason was able to take in a "haul" of candy.
There's one man in our neighborhood who thought giving candy was fine, but he's always been patriotic so instead of giving candy out he gives small American flags, those you see people pass out at parades to wave or can place on your desk. He buys them by the bulk!
No need to worry Steve, I'm to smart to get dragged into a drinking situation of that girl who made a fool of herself. Heard she has detention for a week at school and is grounded at home for not being able to go out. Now I wonder where she got her bottle of booze at? There's a good possibily that she got it from her folks. Some of her girlfriends say her parents have a bar at home, and either don't lock-up the supply area or she picked the lock.
At least the girl is embarrassed about what she did. Not that I have to make contact with her, but she's been avoiding me in the halls at school.
I've seen a few yards get T-P around here before. I had some buddies try to talk me into to joing them, but I like the people they wanted to mess up their yards. That was back in Middle School years, and like your mention of a few "naughty boys" you knew who did the ame, my buddies got their butts whipped by their dads and had to clean the people's yards up, and each of the guys' dad's insisted that each of the property owners give them a butt whacking to, so I'm glad I was not on that caper. It showed a lack of disrespect on my buddies, and they got what they deserved! While they were spending their weekend cleaning up T-P the rest of us guys were enjoying a game of football and entertaining some girls.
