brown eyes fluttered open at the mention of a "spare room" though no notice was taken due to the wrinkled bit of news over his face. it was only out of habit...a spare room was never glanced over by sam. those words were rare...even rarer where they offered to him...alas a lady seemed to have gotten to it first. pure shame, sam would have taken it in a heartbeat.

"room for one more?" he had truly meant to think it but words just seemed to flow through any outlet. the difference between his mind and his actions was becoming threateningly cloudy. its about to rain it was oddly quiet after he had spoken...no bullet trains roared by no people chattered. sam wondered what time it was...what day it was...how old he was...what was his name? 33...sam. "room for one more?" he said a bit louder, sitting up and pulling off the newspaper. sam's short brown hair was as messy as usual...hands as dirty as usual as they touched the orange traffic cone in its place next to the bench. chocolate orbs turned to zeth awaiting the reply, disappointing or not.
