His smile fell. Okay so that wasn't quite the reaction he had been hoping for. She seemed...well...less than enthusiastic during the kiss. Suddenly a bolt of lightening crashed outside the window and all power was lost. Thankfully he had lit the fire earlier. His hand moved back around her waist as he watched her face glow in the firelight, golden but also bright pink where that adorable blush was creeping in. He leaned over to kiss her blushing cheek with a small sigh. She looked so beautiful no matter the lighting or the weather. Honestly he would be quite content with just cuddling with her tonight and holding her close as they slept. He didn't want to frighten her or force her to do anything that she didn't want to. This time he took both hands away from her waist and moved them to the pearl buttons of her nighshirt. He slowly finished undoing the all before slipping his hands to the shoulders and down her arms cauing the night shirt to fall to his lap. One hand remianed on her arm while the other moved behind her to set the shirt upon the back of the couch. The white nightdress he now saw was stunningly beautiful on her. The lace pattern of the top hugged her features without showing off everything and that was nice. It left more to the imagination. His hands moved back aourn her waist as he pulled her forward so that she could lay down on his chest if she so desired.
