This was her first trip on the subway since she'd gotten here and she'd already rode both ways 3 times. Behind her book she was watching the people or other things that got on and off. It was fascinating to her. Sometimes she forgot to pretend to read and her blue eyes got wide with all there was to see. She looked like a little girl with her feet tucked under her taking up so small of a space. For the most part she enjoyed being able to watch people in their own little worlds with no one noticing or even knowing she was there. But as she watched the people who lived here she wished one of them might approach her for being in a new town was lonely and they all seemed so fascinating. Biting her lip she tried again to find the sentence in her book. She'd read the same one over and over again. "Ow.." she peeped making a little o with her mouth. As the subway jolted forward she'd accidentally bit her lip to hard.
