I am a director and I have cringed twice watching this episode.. who loses kids' forms? Who doesn't make sure all is set to go before beauty starts? She could have used a nicer tone of voice when asking the child to step off stage also.. and stand up straight.. jeez.. hold the mic like a normal person!

I didn't like the director, get your crap together lady. I thought the three sisters and mom seemed very wooden and fake, like they were putting on a show for the cameras or auditioning or something. There just really seemed to be something not "normal" about them. Ms. Hernandez you have a cute child but the hair/makeup was horrible, the flipper made her smile as if she had a mouth full of water and was trying to keep from spitting it out, and the biggie? You and your child both need to learn to lose gracefully. Whether it was rigged or not, that type of behavior is what makes pageant kids and parents look bad when you stalk off in a huff because you didn't bring home the crown. And, again fixed or not I doubt she would have won with that horrible hair and makeup job. The youngest girl, she and her mother bugged too for some reason I can't put my finger on, maybe it was the fake curls that bothered me.

Also who started the trend of sportswear moves in beauty walk? I don't like seeing girls doing paintbrush, winks, etc in beauty walk. At least the older girls are still doing traditional beauty walk and not making beauty look stupid. Blowing kisses goes out when you are two!

The bright spot of the whole show? The mom responding to the director's announcement "I don't have your sheets" with "Yeah but you got my checks!".

Her mom seemed EXTREMELY aware of the cameras at all times and came across like she'd really let loose on the child a few times if it weren't for the camera. Also the way the little girl reacted to mom and dad were totally different and dad was able to get the child to behave and respond much better than the mom (NT) -- by simply talking to the child.
