Option 1

With the approach being:
A) Replace with next eligible (team balance position) EMG in order of preference 1>8. If no swaps avail...
B) Re-shuffle from INT if eligible (team balance position) player available & then take next EMG in order of preference 1>8 to move to vacant INT spot. If no re-shuffle possible...
C) Replace with next EMG in order of preference 1>8 and apply a -50pt due to balance.

WHY?
It does not disadvantage coaches who are time poor and cannot track AFL lineups at 7pm each night then make updates to team.
Everyone should have a fair idea on who their outs are and if they are perhaps relying on someone returning from inj, they can name them with confidence that they will have 8 EMGs in line to replace.

It will make it nice and easy to moderate every week. Everyone submits their most likely/preferred to team and we lock it out. A clear view of SL team lineups going into w/e. Set and forget.

Corrections will be minimal on Monday - I forsee maybe 2 changes to each team if everyone is naming their sides based on the readily available media updates. Ie. I know crouch and williams are missing round 1 due to INJ so I wouldn't name them. Easy stuff. I know Treloar is a MAYBE to return from INJ, so I'll name him, knowing I'll have a couple other MIDs listed in my EMG to cover if he doesnt get up.

Don't go naming 8 mids in your EMG. Try and name 1 from each position and then a couple extras. Also, feel free to name your MIDs as EMG 1 2 3 and your KPF spud as EMG 8... at least that way if someone from INT doesn't play, you replace with 1st EMG and if your KPF doesn't play you still have cover without a -50pt.

*-50pt is on the players score, not your team score.
ie. your replacement player scores 85, then his SL score is 35.

I prefer not to do rolling because it introduces loopholes (not that I think you guys would take advantage) and it just gets messy.
