Subject: Team Submission - 2021 - Please read and provide thoughts

Hey crew,

So, AFL have come out and said teams will be required name their lineups 1 day prior to bounce.

This means we have a couple options:

1)
SL teams to be named before first bounce and LOCKED OUT from first bounce.

Given we have 8 EMG, the idea would be to name a good spread of team balance to ensure cover.
Also, you should have a fair idea of who is out INJ or SUSP. there may be some marked as test but with 8xEMG you would have minimal risk in naming them.

IF you have a player who doesn't end up playing (not selected OR late out), THEN...
A) Replace with next eligible (team balance position) EMG in order of preference 1>8. If no swaps avail...
B) Re-shuffle from INT if eligible (team balance position) player available & then take next EMG in order of preference 1>8 to move to vacant INT spot. If no re-shuffle possible...
C) Replace with next EMG in order of preference 1>8 and apply a -50pt due to balance.

A and B are interchangeable, if we like this lockout approach we need to vote one which step takes precedence.

OR

2)
Rolling lockout until Saturday game and then LOCKOUT

OR

3)
Rolling lockout entire w/e

Let us know your thoughts.

If we go with #1 we can look at maybe a rolling lockout for round 1 just to get the ball rolling given we don't know where AFL club best 22s is at.
