A few injuries early on to 'on paper best 22 types (Whitfield, Yeo, Walters, Wingard, Brown, Hogan) and injuries to others (Hibberd, McStay, Paton, Hayden, Cameron, Byrnes, Kemp) have left the Warriors thin, and compounding this is the poor form of Greenwood, Smith, Hill and Miers who all find themselves outside the starting 18 even though the Warriors are averaging well under 1500 for the first few rounds.

Good news is limited.. Daniher is back playing, though a long way from cementing his spot in the 22, Williams seems to have gone to another level, Aliir seems back to his best, and Schulz looks capable of becoming a regular this year..

This week might see Walters and Wingard back, but the Warriors need their whole side to improve to bridge the gap between where they are now and the sides at the top.
