I am happy the way things are, but if a couple of coaches were interested, I think having up to 5 mods would be great for the league.

Currently any major changes are voted on by all the coaches, with the Mods making decisions on things like team balance. I am happy with the current set-up in that regard.

You mentioned that some coaches may feel 'dictated to' under the current arrangement. How so? All rule changes to my knowledge have been voted in, where all coaches and their votes have equal weight with each other, and that includes the mods. Sometimes they have even abstained from voting so to not influence the outcome!
