Subject: My Run Away Vietnam Bride

Hi, anybody encounter vietnam bride married for few months only and run away? My case is less than 3months. And I am very sure I treated her well and yet...loss of money and heart broken also.
Well I am not bad looking anyway, actually planned to marry vietnam girl very long time ago. I had heard that vietnam girls are sweet and gentle. So I came to VIETNAM BRIDES INTERNATIONAL MATCHMAKER at Orchard and selected a 21yr old girl and agreeded the agent fee. I took her out on few occasions to Clark Quay,Suntec City, and other places to get to know each other.
Later she moved in to stay together with me at the end of April. She was good at housekeeping and always waited for me for dinner after my work. We decided to register our marriage, solemisation on June 14.
At around 2nd of June, her extended visit pass has expired and she needed to go back to vietnam. So I gave to her some money for her parent and brother and also shopping. She went back on 2nd June, then later come back on 10June. I was happy and we go to ROM.
Two weeks later after ROM, she told me that she needed to return to vietnam again. This time was through a girl can Ah hwin whom she said worked at Geylang. Ah Hwin told me my wife had to go back vietnam to sign some documents.
At first I was unwilling, because it would mean another trip and separation. But my wife told me the air ticket will be paid. I thought that maybe I can pay the air ticket later.
Then one day on 29June at 8pm, she had an unberable pain at the right hand side and she said is kidney stone. So I accompany her to SGH where the docter attended her. The doctor later told me that she was pregnant. We spent 6hours there as the doctor treated her kidney stones. We reach home at 4am.
At around 11am, I received a call from a man to tell me my wife has a hunband in vietnam and asked me to go to geylang. I confronted my wife and brought her to geylang. It happened the man was Ah Hwin husband and he had beaten her because the Ah hwin bought the air ticket for my wife to go back vietnam to meet her husband and never come back. Ah hwin husband do not want her wife to comit sin as this is breaking other people apart. My wife totally denied this and we went to the matchmaking agency. The boss, Mark Lin, claim that it is not possible and said in vietnam if married then it would be log into a 'hu-tou'.
We left and later she told me that the agent has told her to hide her complicated background before marriage and can only talk after ROM.
During this period of time, my wife started to vomit due to her pregnancy and lost her appetite. I went back together with her to her village on 2july and I came back singapore 5july. Thinking that she can stay there for a while then come back to singapore. The stay in her house was peaceful and I don't see anything wrong. She even revealed to me that she was nearly being forced to marry an Indian guy before I come, and I jokingly said to her that in that case I am her saviour.
I came back singapore 5july and return to my work. She called me and said she would return on 25july. Later I received shocking sms on my handphone claiming my wife is her sweetheart and my wife pregnancy was not mine. The SMS even threaten to beat me if I go to vietnam. I was frustrated that I emailed the embassy in HCM claiming my wife was under threats but later the embassy said she talked to my wife and my wife claimed there was nobody threatening her. I choosed to ignore the SMS.
Unfortunately one week before 25july, my wife called me said she would not be coming back singapore again with no reasons. I confronted the agent boss and he just said he don't know anything abought the girl background. His duty is done one the marriage is signed. He even said that he cannot guarantee 100% success marriage, and people only come to him with problem, and during bed time anybody think of him, claiming his "innocent".
So now, I am left with a hole in my pocket, and heart broken. There is nothing except sorrows and well at least, I felt good to tell everybody. This educate people whom may have the intention to step into marriage agency to do homework.
If all victims come share their encounters, it will built a large community just like time sharing, is through words that people are aware of their doings.
